Artist Statement: A two-part work exploring the distinctive forms and sculptural qualities of cacti.
Artist Bio: David Doyle (born Australia, 1952) has been exhibiting since winning the 1988 Bicentennial Australian Sculpture Award. He has undertaken extensive overseas travel and residencies following the ownership and operation of an artist gallery at the Oasis Shopping Resort in Broadbeach, Queensland, and the establishment of William Street Artist Studios in Balaclava, Victoria.
Doyle has worked in artist studios across the UK, France, USA, India, Thailand and Japan, exhibiting widely both internationally and within Australia. Since 2012, he has primarily resided in Australia, continuing to exhibit in numerous events.
