Artist Statement: Inspired by the distinctive form of the old movie camera, this piece captures a sense of nostalgia and connection to earlier forms of storytelling.

Artist Bio: David Doyle has been exhibiting since winning the 1988 Bicentennial Australian Sculpture Award. He has undertaken extensive overseas travel and residencies, following the ownership and operation of an artist gallery at the Oasis Shopping Resort in Broadbeach, Queensland, and the establishment of William Street Artist Studios in Balaclava, Victoria.

Doyle has worked in studios across the UK, France, USA, India, Thailand and Japan, exhibiting widely both internationally and within Australia. Since 2012, he has primarily resided in Australia, continuing to exhibit in numerous events.
