Artist Statement: Bogong and Golden Sun moths pair night and day, alpine and grassland. Step into the wings, become the moth, and celebrate fragile biodiversity.
Artist Bio: Kelly Stubbs is a conservation horticulturist and owner of Wagtail Natives Nursery in the Snowy Monaro region of NSW. She works with locally native plants, seed, and habitat restoration, and volunteers with Landcare and BirdLife Southern NSW. An avid citizen scientist, Kelly contributes to community biodiversity projects and nature monitoring programs. Her practice connects art, ecology, and public participation, inviting people to see themselves as part of living systems. This is her first sculptural installation.
