Lake Light Sculpture began with a simple idea: to bring art to the outdoors and light up the Snowy Mountains in a way that celebrates both creativity and community. Over the years, it has grown into one of regional Australia’s most loved outdoor sculpture exhibitions—attracting artists and visitors from across the country.

Held annually on the banks of Lake Jindabyne, the event transforms the foreshore into a gallery of light and imagination. From its grassroots beginnings to a nationally recognised cultural event, Lake Light Sculpture continues to be shaped by the people who create, visit, volunteer, and support it—making every Easter long weekend one to remember.
