Less than one month to go until Lake Light Sculpture celebrates 25 years on Lake Jindabyne
JINDABYNE, NSW — With less than a month to go, Lake Light Sculpture is preparing to return to the Lake Jindabyne foreshore for its milestone 25th anniversary event, taking place over the Easter long weekend 3–6 April 2026.
This year’s exhibition will feature 90 sculptures displayed along the much-loved Iconic Sculpture Walk, with expanded programming, new awards, and night-time activations celebrating a quarter century of creativity in the Snowy Mountains.
Artist entries remain open for a short period, with the committee extending submissions for local artists and those exhibiting at Bermagui until Monday, encouraging late entries as the exhibition lineup is finalised.
The 2026 event will also deliver the largest prize pool in the festival’s history, with $51,000 in awards available across the exhibition.
Major awards include:
$10,000 Major Award, supported by Mountainside Jindabyne
Local Artist Award, supported by Airbnb
Smalls Local Award, supported by South East Arts
Expanded Schools and Community Awards, with major and runner-up prizes
The event will also feature two People’s Choice Awards, allowing visitors to vote for their favourite artworks both by day, supported by Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, and by night, supported by Thredbo Resort.
The committee has also confirmed the return of several much-loved artists, including local sculptors Brad Spalding and Todd Costa, alongside many new and returning exhibitors.
Across the four-day program, visitors can expect a vibrant mix of art, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
